By Erica Van de Graaf

In honor of The Heart Series fifth year anniversary we are highlighting some of our amazing past speakers. The conference took off in 2015 and closing speaker, Ido Leffler, saved the best for last lighting up the room with his energy and passion. Five years later he’s still regarded as an audience favorite.

Ido Leffler is an Israeli-born Australian entrepreneur who does it all. Anyone can dream of changing the world but few people can say they actually did, except Ido. His vision for innovation and giving back drove him to co-found five social impact companies and live the life he always dreamed of. “You know you’ve succeeded

when you wake up in the morning and realize the life you lead is not a dream. That for me is success: waking up and going wow, this really is my life,” as mentioned in an article by Birchbox.

This inherent passion for helping people has fueled him to become an entrepreneur, investor, and co- founder of notable companies such as Brandless Inc, Yes To Inc, Beach House Group, Cheeky Home and Yoobi. Not to mention he is a wonderful husband and father of three children.

At only eighteen years old he started The Roving Bakery, a bagel delivery service, which became the first of many in his entrepreneurship career. In college Leffler met his business partner Lance Kalish playing soccer at The University of Technology Sydney. Together they founded Yes To Inc in 2006, a company that produced and marketing organic hair and skincare products. Leffler’s philosophy has always been “say yes to positivity”, this is where the name Yes To Inc came from. Their brand has been sold in over 25,000 stores, but the number of lives that have been positively impacted remains countless. We can’t wait to see what’s next as he continues to reinvent the way we shop, one company at a time.
